An-Naazi'aat 1

وَٱلنَّٰزِعَٰتِ غَرْقًا ﴿١﴾

WaalnnaziAAati gharqan

By those (angels) who pull out (the souls of the disbelievers and the wicked) with great violence; The Noble Quran

An-Naazi'aat 2

وَٱلنَّٰشِطَٰتِ نَشْطًا ﴿٢﴾

Waalnnashitati nashtan

By those (angels) who gently take out (the souls of the believers); The Noble Quran

An-Naazi'aat 3

وَٱلسَّٰبِحَٰتِ سَبْحًا ﴿٣﴾

Waalssabihati sabhan

And by those that swim along (i.e. angels or planets in their orbits, etc.). The Noble Quran

An-Naazi'aat 4

فَٱلسَّٰبِقَٰتِ سَبْقًا ﴿٤﴾

Faalssabiqati sabqan

And by those that press forward as in a race (i.e. the angels or stars or the horses, etc.). The Noble Quran

An-Naazi'aat 5

فَٱلْمُدَبِّرَٰتِ أَمْرًا ﴿٥﴾

Faalmudabbirati amran

And by those angels who arrange to do the Commands of their Lord, (so verily, you disbelievers will be called to account). The Noble Quran

An-Naazi'aat 6

يَوْمَ تَرْجُفُ ٱلرَّاجِفَةُ ﴿٦﴾

Yawma tarjufu alrrajifatu

On the Day (when the first blowing of the Trumpet is blown), the earth and the mountains will shake violently (and everybody will die), The Noble Quran

An-Naazi'aat 7

تَتْبَعُهَا ٱلرَّادِفَةُ ﴿٧﴾

TatbaAAuha alrradifatu

The second blowing of the Trumpet follows it (and everybody will be raised up), The Noble Quran

An-Naazi'aat 8

قُلُوبٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ وَاجِفَةٌ ﴿٨﴾

Quloobun yawmaithin wajifatun

(Some) hearts that Day will shake with fear and anxiety. The Noble Quran

An-Naazi'aat 9

أَبْصَٰرُهَا خَٰشِعَةٌ ﴿٩﴾

Absaruha khashiAAatun

Their eyes cast down. The Noble Quran

An-Naazi'aat 10

يَقُولُونَ أَءِنَّا لَمَرْدُودُونَ فِى ٱلْحَافِرَةِ ﴿١٠﴾

Yaqooloona ainna lamardoodoona fee alhafirati

They say: "Shall we indeed be returned to (our) former state of life? The Noble Quran

An-Naazi'aat 11

أَءِذَا كُنَّا عِظَٰمًا نَّخِرَةً ﴿١١﴾

Aitha kunna AAithaman nakhiratan

"Even after we are crumbled bones?" The Noble Quran

An-Naazi'aat 12

قَالُوا۟ تِلْكَ إِذًا كَرَّةٌ خَاسِرَةٌ ﴿١٢﴾

Qaloo tilka ithan karratun khasiratun

They say: "It would in that case, be a return with loss!" The Noble Quran

An-Naazi'aat 13

فَإِنَّمَا هِىَ زَجْرَةٌ وَٰحِدَةٌ ﴿١٣﴾

Fainnama hiya zajratun wahidatun

But only, it will be a single Zajrah [shout (i.e., the second blowing of the Trumpet)]. (See Verse 37:19). The Noble Quran

An-Naazi'aat 14

فَإِذَا هُم بِٱلسَّاهِرَةِ ﴿١٤﴾

Faitha hum bialssahirati

When, behold, they find themselves over the earth alive after their death, The Noble Quran

An-Naazi'aat 15

هَلْ أَتَىٰكَ حَدِيثُ مُوسَىٰٓ ﴿١٥﴾

Hal ataka hadeethu moosa

Has there come to you the story of Musa (Moses)? The Noble Quran

An-Naazi'aat 16

إِذْ نَادَىٰهُ رَبُّهُۥ بِٱلْوَادِ ٱلْمُقَدَّسِ طُوًى ﴿١٦﴾

Ith nadahu rabbuhu bialwadi almuqaddasi tuwan

When his Lord called him in the sacred valley of Tuwa, The Noble Quran

An-Naazi'aat 17

ٱذْهَبْ إِلَىٰ فِرْعَوْنَ إِنَّهُۥ طَغَىٰ ﴿١٧﴾

Ithhab ila firAAawna innahu tagha

Go to Fir'aun (Pharaoh), verily, he has transgressed all bounds (in crimes, sins, polytheism, disbelief, etc.). The Noble Quran

An-Naazi'aat 18

فَقُلْ هَل لَّكَ إِلَىٰٓ أَن تَزَكَّىٰ ﴿١٨﴾

Faqul hal laka ila an tazakka

And say to him: "Would you purify yourself (from the sin of disbelief by becoming a believer)", The Noble Quran

An-Naazi'aat 19

وَأَهْدِيَكَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ فَتَخْشَىٰ ﴿١٩﴾

Waahdiyaka ila rabbika fatakhsha

And that I guide you to your Lord, so you should fear Him? The Noble Quran

An-Naazi'aat 20

فَأَرَىٰهُ ٱلْءَايَةَ ٱلْكُبْرَىٰ ﴿٢٠﴾

Faarahu alayata alkubra

Then [Musa (Moses)] showed him the great sign (miracles). The Noble Quran

An-Naazi'aat 21

فَكَذَّبَ وَعَصَىٰ ﴿٢١﴾

Fakaththaba waAAasa

But [Fir'aun (Pharaoh)] belied and disobeyed; The Noble Quran

An-Naazi'aat 22

ثُمَّ أَدْبَرَ يَسْعَىٰ ﴿٢٢﴾

Thumma adbara yasAAa

Then he turned his back, striving hard (against Allah). The Noble Quran

An-Naazi'aat 23

فَحَشَرَ فَنَادَىٰ ﴿٢٣﴾

Fahashara fanada

Then he gathered his people and cried aloud, The Noble Quran

An-Naazi'aat 24

فَقَالَ أَنَا۠ رَبُّكُمُ ٱلْأَعْلَىٰ ﴿٢٤﴾

Faqala ana rabbukumu alaAAla

Saying: "I am your lord, most high", The Noble Quran

An-Naazi'aat 25

فَأَخَذَهُ ٱللَّهُ نَكَالَ ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ وَٱلْأُولَىٰٓ ﴿٢٥﴾

Faakhathahu Allahu nakala alakhirati waaloola

So Allah, seized him with punishment for his last [i.e. his saying: "I am your lord, most high") (see Verse 79:24)] and first [(i.e. his saying, "O chiefs! I know not that you have a god other than I" (see Verse 28:38)] transgression. The Noble Quran

An-Naazi'aat 26

إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَعِبْرَةً لِّمَن يَخْشَىٰٓ ﴿٢٦﴾

Inna fee thalika laAAibratan liman yakhsha

Verily, in this is an instructive admonition for whosoever fears Allah. The Noble Quran

An-Naazi'aat 27

ءَأَنتُمْ أَشَدُّ خَلْقًا أَمِ ٱلسَّمَآءُ بَنَىٰهَا ﴿٢٧﴾

Aantum ashaddu khalqan ami alssamao banaha

Are you more difficult to create, or is the heaven that He constructed? The Noble Quran

An-Naazi'aat 28

رَفَعَ سَمْكَهَا فَسَوَّىٰهَا ﴿٢٨﴾

RafaAAa samkaha fasawwaha

He raised its height, and He has equally ordered it, The Noble Quran

An-Naazi'aat 29

وَأَغْطَشَ لَيْلَهَا وَأَخْرَجَ ضُحَىٰهَا ﴿٢٩﴾

Waaghtasha laylaha waakhraja duhaha

Its night He covers with darkness, and its forenoon He brings out (with light). The Noble Quran

An-Naazi'aat 30

وَٱلْأَرْضَ بَعْدَ ذَٰلِكَ دَحَىٰهَآ ﴿٣٠﴾

Waalarda baAAda thalika dahaha

And after that He spread the earth; The Noble Quran

An-Naazi'aat 31

أَخْرَجَ مِنْهَا مَآءَهَا وَمَرْعَىٰهَا ﴿٣١﴾

Akhraja minha maaha wamarAAaha

And brought forth therefrom its water and its pasture; The Noble Quran

An-Naazi'aat 32

وَٱلْجِبَالَ أَرْسَىٰهَا ﴿٣٢﴾

Waaljibala arsaha

And the mountains He has fixed firmly; The Noble Quran

An-Naazi'aat 33

مَتَٰعًا لَّكُمْ وَلِأَنْعَٰمِكُمْ ﴿٣٣﴾

MataAAan lakum walianAAamikum

(To be) a provision and benefit for you and your cattle. The Noble Quran

An-Naazi'aat 34

فَإِذَا جَآءَتِ ٱلطَّآمَّةُ ٱلْكُبْرَىٰ ﴿٣٤﴾

Faitha jaati alttammatu alkubra

But when there comes the greatest catastrophe (i.e. the Day of Recompense, etc.), The Noble Quran

An-Naazi'aat 35

يَوْمَ يَتَذَكَّرُ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ مَا سَعَىٰ ﴿٣٥﴾

Yawma yatathakkaru alinsanu ma saAAa

The Day when man shall remember what he strove for, The Noble Quran

An-Naazi'aat 36

وَبُرِّزَتِ ٱلْجَحِيمُ لِمَن يَرَىٰ ﴿٣٦﴾

Waburrizati aljaheemu liman yara

And Hell-fire shall be made apparent in full view for (every) one who sees, The Noble Quran

An-Naazi'aat 37

فَأَمَّا مَن طَغَىٰ ﴿٣٧﴾

Faamma man tagha

Then, for him who Tagha (transgressed all bounds, in disbelief, oppression and evil deeds of disobedience to Allah). The Noble Quran

An-Naazi'aat 38

وَءَاثَرَ ٱلْحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنْيَا ﴿٣٨﴾

Waathara alhayata alddunya

And preferred the life of this world (by following his evil desires and lusts), The Noble Quran

An-Naazi'aat 39

فَإِنَّ ٱلْجَحِيمَ هِىَ ٱلْمَأْوَىٰ ﴿٣٩﴾

Fainna aljaheema hiya almawa

Verily, his abode will be Hell-fire; The Noble Quran

An-Naazi'aat 40

وَأَمَّا مَنْ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّهِۦ وَنَهَى ٱلنَّفْسَ عَنِ ٱلْهَوَىٰ ﴿٤٠﴾

Waama man khafa maqama rabbihi wanaha alnnafsa AAani alhawa

But as for him who feared standing before his Lord, and restrained himself from impure evil desires, and lusts. The Noble Quran

An-Naazi'aat 41

فَإِنَّ ٱلْجَنَّةَ هِىَ ٱلْمَأْوَىٰ ﴿٤١﴾

Fainna aljannata hiya almawa

Verily, Paradise will be his abode. The Noble Quran

An-Naazi'aat 42

يَسْـَٔلُونَكَ عَنِ ٱلسَّاعَةِ أَيَّانَ مُرْسَىٰهَا ﴿٤٢﴾

Yasaloonaka AAani alssaAAati ayyana mursaha

They ask you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) about the Hour, - when will be its appointed time? The Noble Quran

An-Naazi'aat 43

فِيمَ أَنتَ مِن ذِكْرَىٰهَآ ﴿٤٣﴾

Feema anta min thikraha

You have no knowledge to say anything about it, The Noble Quran

An-Naazi'aat 44

إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ مُنتَهَىٰهَآ ﴿٤٤﴾

Ila rabbika muntahaha

To your Lord belongs (the knowledge of) the term thereof? The Noble Quran

An-Naazi'aat 45

إِنَّمَآ أَنتَ مُنذِرُ مَن يَخْشَىٰهَا ﴿٤٥﴾

Innama anta munthiru man yakhshaha

You (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) are only a warner for those who fear it, The Noble Quran

An-Naazi'aat 46

كَأَنَّهُمْ يَوْمَ يَرَوْنَهَا لَمْ يَلْبَثُوٓا۟ إِلَّا عَشِيَّةً أَوْ ضُحَىٰهَا ﴿٤٦﴾

Kaannahum yawma yarawnaha lam yalbathoo illa AAashiyyatan aw duhaha

The Day they see it, (it will be) as if they had not tarried (in this world) except an afternoon or a morning. The Noble Quran
