Al-Maa'un 1
أَرَءَيْتَ ٱلَّذِى يُكَذِّبُ بِٱلدِّينِ ﴿١﴾
Araayta allathee yukaththibu bialddeeni
Have you seen him who denies the Recompense? The Noble Quran
Al-Maa'un 2
فَذَٰلِكَ ٱلَّذِى يَدُعُّ ٱلْيَتِيمَ ﴿٢﴾
Fathalika allathee yaduAAAAu alyateema
That is he who repulses the orphan (harshly), The Noble Quran
Al-Maa'un 3
وَلَا يَحُضُّ عَلَىٰ طَعَامِ ٱلْمِسْكِينِ ﴿٣﴾
Wala yahuddu AAala taAAami almiskeeni
And urges not the feeding of AlMiskin (the poor), The Noble Quran
Al-Maa'un 4
فَوَيْلٌ لِّلْمُصَلِّينَ ﴿٤﴾
Fawaylun lilmusalleena
So woe unto those performers of Salat (prayers) (hypocrites), The Noble Quran
Al-Maa'un 5
ٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ عَن صَلَاتِهِمْ سَاهُونَ ﴿٥﴾
Allatheena hum AAan salatihim sahoona
Who delay their Salat (prayer) from their stated fixed times, The Noble Quran
Al-Maa'un 6
ٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ يُرَآءُونَ ﴿٦﴾
Allatheena hum yuraoona
Those who do good deeds only to be seen (of men), The Noble Quran
Al-Maa'un 7
وَيَمْنَعُونَ ٱلْمَاعُونَ ﴿٧﴾
WayamnaAAoona almaAAoona
And refuse Al-Ma'un (small kindnesses e.g. salt, sugar, water, etc.). The Noble Quran
