Al-Insaan 1

هَلْ أَتَىٰ عَلَى ٱلْإِنسَٰنِ حِينٌ مِّنَ ٱلدَّهْرِ لَمْ يَكُن شَيْـًٔا مَّذْكُورًا ﴿١﴾

Hal ata AAala alinsani heenun mina alddahri lam yakun shayan mathkooran

Has there not been over man a period of time, when he was nothing to be mentioned? The Noble Quran

Al-Insaan 2

إِنَّا خَلَقْنَا ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ مِن نُّطْفَةٍ أَمْشَاجٍ نَّبْتَلِيهِ فَجَعَلْنَٰهُ سَمِيعًۢا بَصِيرًا ﴿٢﴾

Inna khalaqna alinsana min nutfatin amshajin nabtaleehi fajaAAalnahu sameeAAan baseeran

Verily, We have created man from Nutfah drops of mixed semen (discharge of man and woman), in order to try him, so We made him hearer, seer. The Noble Quran

Al-Insaan 3

إِنَّا هَدَيْنَٰهُ ٱلسَّبِيلَ إِمَّا شَاكِرًا وَإِمَّا كَفُورًا ﴿٣﴾

Inna hadaynahu alssabeela imma shakiran waimma kafooran

Verily, We showed him the way, whether he be grateful or ungrateful. The Noble Quran

Al-Insaan 4

إِنَّآ أَعْتَدْنَا لِلْكَٰفِرِينَ سَلَٰسِلَا۟ وَأَغْلَٰلًا وَسَعِيرًا ﴿٤﴾

Inna aAAtadna lilkafireena salasila waaghlalan wasaAAeeran

Verily, We have prepared for the disbelievers iron chains, iron collars, and a blazing Fire. The Noble Quran

Al-Insaan 5

إِنَّ ٱلْأَبْرَارَ يَشْرَبُونَ مِن كَأْسٍ كَانَ مِزَاجُهَا كَافُورًا ﴿٥﴾

Inna alabrara yashraboona min kasin kana mizajuha kafooran

Verily, the Abrar (pious, who fear Allah and avoid evil), shall drink a cup (of wine) mixed with water from a spring in Paradise called Kafur. The Noble Quran

Al-Insaan 6

عَيْنًا يَشْرَبُ بِهَا عِبَادُ ٱللَّهِ يُفَجِّرُونَهَا تَفْجِيرًا ﴿٦﴾

AAaynan yashrabu biha AAibadu Allahi yufajjiroonaha tafjeeran

A spring wherefrom the slaves of Allah will drink, causing it to gush forth abundantly. The Noble Quran

Al-Insaan 7

يُوفُونَ بِٱلنَّذْرِ وَيَخَافُونَ يَوْمًا كَانَ شَرُّهُۥ مُسْتَطِيرًا ﴿٧﴾

Yoofoona bialnnathri wayakhafoona yawman kana sharruhu mustateeran

They (are those who) fulfill (their) vows, and they fear a Day whose evil will be wide-spreading. The Noble Quran

Al-Insaan 8

وَيُطْعِمُونَ ٱلطَّعَامَ عَلَىٰ حُبِّهِۦ مِسْكِينًا وَيَتِيمًا وَأَسِيرًا ﴿٨﴾

WayutAAimona alttaAAama AAala hubbihi miskeenan wayateeman waaseeran

And they give food, inspite of their love for it (or for the love of Him), to Miskin (poor), the orphan, and the captive, The Noble Quran

Al-Insaan 9

إِنَّمَا نُطْعِمُكُمْ لِوَجْهِ ٱللَّهِ لَا نُرِيدُ مِنكُمْ جَزَآءً وَلَا شُكُورًا ﴿٩﴾

Innama nutAAimukum liwajhi Allahi la nureedu minkum jazaan wala shukooran

(Saying): "We feed you seeking Allah's Countenance only. We wish for no reward, nor thanks from you. The Noble Quran

Al-Insaan 10

إِنَّا نَخَافُ مِن رَّبِّنَا يَوْمًا عَبُوسًا قَمْطَرِيرًا ﴿١٠﴾

Inna nakhafu min rabbina yawman AAaboosan qamtareeran

"Verily, We fear from our Lord a Day, hard and distressful, that will make the faces look horrible (from extreme dislikeness to it)." The Noble Quran

Al-Insaan 11

فَوَقَىٰهُمُ ٱللَّهُ شَرَّ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلْيَوْمِ وَلَقَّىٰهُمْ نَضْرَةً وَسُرُورًا ﴿١١﴾

Fawaqahumu Allahu sharra thalika alyawmi walaqqahum nadratan wasurooran

So Allah saved them from the evil of that Day, and gave them Nadratan (a light of beauty) and joy. The Noble Quran

Al-Insaan 12

وَجَزَىٰهُم بِمَا صَبَرُوا۟ جَنَّةً وَحَرِيرًا ﴿١٢﴾

Wajazahum bima sabaroo jannatan wahareeran

And their recompense shall be Paradise, and silken garments, because they were patient. The Noble Quran

Al-Insaan 13

مُّتَّكِـِٔينَ فِيهَا عَلَى ٱلْأَرَآئِكِ لَا يَرَوْنَ فِيهَا شَمْسًا وَلَا زَمْهَرِيرًا ﴿١٣﴾

Muttakieena feeha AAala alaraiki la yarawna feeha shamsan wala zamhareeran

Reclining therein on raised thrones, they will see there neither the excessive heat of the sun, nor the excessive bitter cold, (as in Paradise there is no sun and no moon). The Noble Quran

Al-Insaan 14

وَدَانِيَةً عَلَيْهِمْ ظِلَٰلُهَا وَذُلِّلَتْ قُطُوفُهَا تَذْلِيلًا ﴿١٤﴾

Wadaniyatan AAalayhim thilaluha wathullilat qutoofuha tathleelan

And the shade thereof is close upon them, and the bunches of fruit thereof will hang low within their reach. The Noble Quran

Al-Insaan 15

وَيُطَافُ عَلَيْهِم بِـَٔانِيَةٍ مِّن فِضَّةٍ وَأَكْوَابٍ كَانَتْ قَوَارِيرَا۠ ﴿١٥﴾

Wayutafu AAalayhim bianiyatin min fiddatin waakwabin kanat qawareera

And amongst them will be passed round vessels of silver and cups of crystal, The Noble Quran

Al-Insaan 16

قَوَارِيرَا۟ مِن فِضَّةٍ قَدَّرُوهَا تَقْدِيرًا ﴿١٦﴾

Qawareera min fiddatin qaddarooha taqdeeran

Crystal-clear, made of silver. They will determine the measure thereof according to their wishes. The Noble Quran

Al-Insaan 17

وَيُسْقَوْنَ فِيهَا كَأْسًا كَانَ مِزَاجُهَا زَنجَبِيلًا ﴿١٧﴾

Wayusqawna feeha kasan kana mizajuha zanjabeelan

And they will be given to drink there a cup (of wine) mixed with Zanjabil (ginger, etc.), The Noble Quran

Al-Insaan 18

عَيْنًا فِيهَا تُسَمَّىٰ سَلْسَبِيلًا ﴿١٨﴾

AAaynan feeha tusamma salsabeelan

A spring there, called Salsabil. The Noble Quran

Al-Insaan 19

وَيَطُوفُ عَلَيْهِمْ وِلْدَٰنٌ مُّخَلَّدُونَ إِذَا رَأَيْتَهُمْ حَسِبْتَهُمْ لُؤْلُؤًا مَّنثُورًا ﴿١٩﴾

Wayatoofu AAalayhim wildanun mukhalladoona itha raaytahum hasibtahum luluan manthooran

And round about them will (serve) boys of everlasting youth. If you see them, you would think them scattered pearls. The Noble Quran

Al-Insaan 20

وَإِذَا رَأَيْتَ ثَمَّ رَأَيْتَ نَعِيمًا وَمُلْكًا كَبِيرًا ﴿٢٠﴾

Waitha raayta thamma raayta naAAeeman wamulkan kabeeran

And when you look there (in Paradise), you will see a delight (that cannot be imagined), and a great dominion. The Noble Quran

Al-Insaan 21

عَٰلِيَهُمْ ثِيَابُ سُندُسٍ خُضْرٌ وَإِسْتَبْرَقٌ وَحُلُّوٓا۟ أَسَاوِرَ مِن فِضَّةٍ وَسَقَىٰهُمْ رَبُّهُمْ شَرَابًا طَهُورًا ﴿٢١﴾

AAaliyahum thiyabu sundusin khudrun waistabraqun wahulloo asawira min fiddatin wasaqahum rabbuhum sharaban tahooran

Their garments will be of fine green silk, and gold embroidery. They will be adorned with bracelets of silver, and their Lord will give them a pure drink. The Noble Quran

Al-Insaan 22

إِنَّ هَٰذَا كَانَ لَكُمْ جَزَآءً وَكَانَ سَعْيُكُم مَّشْكُورًا ﴿٢٢﴾

Inna hatha kana lakum jazaan wakana saAAyukum mashkooran

(And it will be said to them): "Verily, this is a reward for you, and your endeavour has been accepted." The Noble Quran

Al-Insaan 23

إِنَّا نَحْنُ نَزَّلْنَا عَلَيْكَ ٱلْقُرْءَانَ تَنزِيلًا ﴿٢٣﴾

Inna nahnu nazzalna AAalayka alqurana tanzeelan

Verily! It is We Who have sent down the Quran to you (O Muhammad SAW) by stages. The Noble Quran

Al-Insaan 24

فَٱصْبِرْ لِحُكْمِ رَبِّكَ وَلَا تُطِعْ مِنْهُمْ ءَاثِمًا أَوْ كَفُورًا ﴿٢٤﴾

Faisbir lihukmi rabbika wala tutiAA minhum athiman aw kafooran

Therefore be patient (O Muhammad SAW) and submit to the Command of your Lord (Allah, by doing your duty to Him and by conveying His Message to mankind), and obey neither a sinner nor a disbeliever among them. The Noble Quran

Al-Insaan 25

وَٱذْكُرِ ٱسْمَ رَبِّكَ بُكْرَةً وَأَصِيلًا ﴿٢٥﴾

Waothkuri isma rabbika bukratan waaseelan

And remember the Name of your Lord every morning and afternoon [i.e. offering of the Morning (Fajr), Zuhr, and 'Asr prayers]. The Noble Quran

Al-Insaan 26

وَمِنَ ٱلَّيْلِ فَٱسْجُدْ لَهُۥ وَسَبِّحْهُ لَيْلًا طَوِيلًا ﴿٢٦﴾

Wamina allayli faosjud lahu wasabbihhu laylan taweelan

And during night, prostrate yourself to Him (i.e. the offering of Maghrib and 'Isha' prayers), and glorify Him a long night through (i.e. Tahajjud prayer). The Noble Quran

Al-Insaan 27

إِنَّ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ يُحِبُّونَ ٱلْعَاجِلَةَ وَيَذَرُونَ وَرَآءَهُمْ يَوْمًا ثَقِيلًا ﴿٢٧﴾

Inna haolai yuhibboona alAAajilata wayatharoona waraahum yawman thaqeelan

Verily! These (disbelievers) love the present life of this world, and put behind them a heavy Day (that will be hard). The Noble Quran

Al-Insaan 28

نَّحْنُ خَلَقْنَٰهُمْ وَشَدَدْنَآ أَسْرَهُمْ وَإِذَا شِئْنَا بَدَّلْنَآ أَمْثَٰلَهُمْ تَبْدِيلًا ﴿٢٨﴾

Nahnu khalaqnahum washadadna asrahum waitha shina baddalna amthalahum tabdeelan

It is We Who created them, and We have made them of strong built. And when We will, We can replace them with others like them with a complete replacement. The Noble Quran

Al-Insaan 29

إِنَّ هَٰذِهِۦ تَذْكِرَةٌ فَمَن شَآءَ ٱتَّخَذَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِۦ سَبِيلًا ﴿٢٩﴾

Inna hathihi tathkiratun faman shaa ittakhatha ila rabbihi sabeelan

Verily! This (Verses of the Quran) is an admonition, so whosoever wills, let him take a Path to his Lord (Allah). The Noble Quran

Al-Insaan 30

وَمَا تَشَآءُونَ إِلَّآ أَن يَشَآءَ ٱللَّهُ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ عَلِيمًا حَكِيمًا ﴿٣٠﴾

Wama tashaoona illa an yashaa Allahu inna Allaha kana AAaleeman hakeeman

But you cannot will, unless Allah wills. Verily, Allah is Ever All-Knowing, All-Wise. The Noble Quran

Al-Insaan 31

يُدْخِلُ مَن يَشَآءُ فِى رَحْمَتِهِۦ وَٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ أَعَدَّ لَهُمْ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًۢا ﴿٣١﴾

Yudkhilu man yashao fee rahmatihi waalththalimeena aAAadda lahum AAathaban aleeman

He will admit to His Mercy whom He will and as for the Zalimun, (polytheists, wrong-doers, etc.) He has prepared a painful torment. The Noble Quran
