Adh-Dhaariyat 1

وَٱلذَّٰرِيَٰتِ ذَرْوًا ﴿١﴾

Waalththariyati tharwan

By (the winds) that scatter dust. The Noble Quran

Adh-Dhaariyat 2

فَٱلْحَٰمِلَٰتِ وِقْرًا ﴿٢﴾

Faalhamilati wiqran

And (the clouds) that bear heavy weight of water; The Noble Quran

Adh-Dhaariyat 3

فَٱلْجَٰرِيَٰتِ يُسْرًا ﴿٣﴾

Faaljariyati yusran

And (the ships) that float with ease and gentleness; The Noble Quran

Adh-Dhaariyat 4

فَٱلْمُقَسِّمَٰتِ أَمْرًا ﴿٤﴾

Faalmuqassimati amran

And those (angels) who distribute (provisions, rain, and other blessings) by (Allah's) Command; The Noble Quran

Adh-Dhaariyat 5

إِنَّمَا تُوعَدُونَ لَصَادِقٌ ﴿٥﴾

Innama tooAAadoona lasadiqun

Verily, that which you are promised (i.e. Resurrection in the Hereafter and receiving the reward or punishment of good or bad deeds, etc.) is surely true. The Noble Quran

Adh-Dhaariyat 6

وَإِنَّ ٱلدِّينَ لَوَٰقِعٌ ﴿٦﴾

Wainna alddeena lawaqiAAun

And verily, the Recompense is sure to happen. The Noble Quran

Adh-Dhaariyat 7

وَٱلسَّمَآءِ ذَاتِ ٱلْحُبُكِ ﴿٧﴾

Waalssamai thati alhubuki

By the heaven full of paths, The Noble Quran

Adh-Dhaariyat 8

إِنَّكُمْ لَفِى قَوْلٍ مُّخْتَلِفٍ ﴿٨﴾

Innakum lafee qawlin mukhtalifin

Certainly, you have different ideas (about Muhammad SAW and the Quran). The Noble Quran

Adh-Dhaariyat 9

يُؤْفَكُ عَنْهُ مَنْ أُفِكَ ﴿٩﴾

Yufaku AAanhu man ofika

Turned aside therefrom (i.e. from Muhammad SAW and the Quran) is he who is turned aside (by the Decree and Preordainment of Allah). The Noble Quran

Adh-Dhaariyat 10

قُتِلَ ٱلْخَرَّٰصُونَ ﴿١٠﴾

Qutila alkharrasoona

Cursed be the liars, The Noble Quran

Adh-Dhaariyat 11

ٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ فِى غَمْرَةٍ سَاهُونَ ﴿١١﴾

Allatheena hum fee ghamratin sahoona

Who are under a cover of heedlessness (think not about the gravity of the Hereafter), The Noble Quran

Adh-Dhaariyat 12

يَسْـَٔلُونَ أَيَّانَ يَوْمُ ٱلدِّينِ ﴿١٢﴾

Yasaloona ayyana yawmu alddeeni

They ask; "When will be the Day of Recompense?" The Noble Quran

Adh-Dhaariyat 13

يَوْمَ هُمْ عَلَى ٱلنَّارِ يُفْتَنُونَ ﴿١٣﴾

Yawma hum AAala alnnari yuftanoona

(It will be) a Day when they will be tried (i.e. burnt) over the Fire! The Noble Quran

Adh-Dhaariyat 14

ذُوقُوا۟ فِتْنَتَكُمْ هَٰذَا ٱلَّذِى كُنتُم بِهِۦ تَسْتَعْجِلُونَ ﴿١٤﴾

Thooqoo fitnatakum hatha allathee kuntum bihi tastaAAjiloona

"Taste you your trial (burning)! This is what you used to ask to be hastened!" The Noble Quran

Adh-Dhaariyat 15

إِنَّ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ فِى جَنَّٰتٍ وَعُيُونٍ ﴿١٥﴾

Inna almuttaqeena fee jannatin waAAuyoonin

Verily, the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2) will be in the midst of Gardens and Springs (in the Paradise), The Noble Quran

Adh-Dhaariyat 16

ءَاخِذِينَ مَآ ءَاتَىٰهُمْ رَبُّهُمْ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ قَبْلَ ذَٰلِكَ مُحْسِنِينَ ﴿١٦﴾

Akhitheena ma atahum rabbuhum innahum kanoo qabla thalika muhsineena

Taking joy in the things which their Lord has given them. Verily, they were before this Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). The Noble Quran

Adh-Dhaariyat 17

كَانُوا۟ قَلِيلًا مِّنَ ٱلَّيْلِ مَا يَهْجَعُونَ ﴿١٧﴾

Kanoo qaleelan mina allayli ma yahjaAAoona

They used to sleep but little by night [invoking their Lord (Allah) and praying, with fear and hope]. The Noble Quran

Adh-Dhaariyat 18

وَبِٱلْأَسْحَارِ هُمْ يَسْتَغْفِرُونَ ﴿١٨﴾

Wabialashari hum yastaghfiroona

And in the hours before dawn, they were (found) asking (Allah) for forgiveness, The Noble Quran

Adh-Dhaariyat 19

وَفِىٓ أَمْوَٰلِهِمْ حَقٌّ لِّلسَّآئِلِ وَٱلْمَحْرُومِ ﴿١٩﴾

Wafee amwalihim haqqun lilssaili waalmahroomi

And in their properties there was the right of the beggar, and the Mahrum (the poor who does not ask the others). The Noble Quran

Adh-Dhaariyat 20

وَفِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ءَايَٰتٌ لِّلْمُوقِنِينَ ﴿٢٠﴾

Wafee alardi ayatun lilmooqineena

And on the earth are signs for those who have Faith with certainty, The Noble Quran

Adh-Dhaariyat 21

وَفِىٓ أَنفُسِكُمْ أَفَلَا تُبْصِرُونَ ﴿٢١﴾

Wafee anfusikum afala tubsiroona

And also in your ownselves. Will you not then see? The Noble Quran

Adh-Dhaariyat 22

وَفِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ رِزْقُكُمْ وَمَا تُوعَدُونَ ﴿٢٢﴾

Wafee alssamai rizqukum wama tooAAadoona

And in the heaven is your provision, and that which you are promised. The Noble Quran

Adh-Dhaariyat 23

فَوَرَبِّ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ إِنَّهُۥ لَحَقٌّ مِّثْلَ مَآ أَنَّكُمْ تَنطِقُونَ ﴿٢٣﴾

Fawarabbi alssamai waalardi innahu lahaqqun mithla ma annakum tantiqoona

Then, by the Lord of the heaven and the earth, it is the truth (i.e. what has been promised to you), just as it is the truth that you can speak. The Noble Quran

Adh-Dhaariyat 24

هَلْ أَتَىٰكَ حَدِيثُ ضَيْفِ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ ٱلْمُكْرَمِينَ ﴿٢٤﴾

Hal ataka hadeethu dayfi ibraheema almukrameena

Has the story reached you, of the honoured guests [three angels; Jibrael (Gabriel) along with another two] of Ibrahim (Abraham)? The Noble Quran

Adh-Dhaariyat 25

إِذْ دَخَلُوا۟ عَلَيْهِ فَقَالُوا۟ سَلَٰمًا قَالَ سَلَٰمٌ قَوْمٌ مُّنكَرُونَ ﴿٢٥﴾

Ith dakhaloo AAalayhi faqaloo salaman qala salamun qawmun munkaroona

When they came in to him, and said, "Salam, (peace be upon you)!" He answered; "Salam, (peace be upon you)," and said: "You are a people unknown to me," The Noble Quran

Adh-Dhaariyat 26

فَرَاغَ إِلَىٰٓ أَهْلِهِۦ فَجَآءَ بِعِجْلٍ سَمِينٍ ﴿٢٦﴾

Faragha ila ahlihi fajaa biAAijlin sameenin

Then he turned to his household, so brought out a roasted calf [as the property of Ibrahim (Abraham) was mainly cows]. The Noble Quran

Adh-Dhaariyat 27

فَقَرَّبَهُۥٓ إِلَيْهِمْ قَالَ أَلَا تَأْكُلُونَ ﴿٢٧﴾

Faqarrabahu ilayhim qala ala takuloona

And placed it before them, (saying): "Will you not eat?" The Noble Quran

Adh-Dhaariyat 28

فَأَوْجَسَ مِنْهُمْ خِيفَةً قَالُوا۟ لَا تَخَفْ وَبَشَّرُوهُ بِغُلَٰمٍ عَلِيمٍ ﴿٢٨﴾

Faawjasa minhum kheefatan qaloo la takhaf wabashsharoohu bighulamin AAaleemin

Then he conceived a fear of them (when they ate not). They said: "Fear not." And they gave him glad tidings of an intelligent son, having knowledge (about Allah and His religion of True Monotheism). The Noble Quran

Adh-Dhaariyat 29

فَأَقْبَلَتِ ٱمْرَأَتُهُۥ فِى صَرَّةٍ فَصَكَّتْ وَجْهَهَا وَقَالَتْ عَجُوزٌ عَقِيمٌ ﴿٢٩﴾

Faaqbalati imraatuhu fee sarratin fasakkat wajhaha waqalat AAajoozun AAaqeemun

Then his wife came forward with a loud voice, she smote her face, and said: "A barren old woman!" The Noble Quran

Adh-Dhaariyat 30

قَالُوا۟ كَذَٰلِكِ قَالَ رَبُّكِ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلْحَكِيمُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ ﴿٣٠﴾

Qaloo kathaliki qala rabbuki innahu huwa alhakeemu alAAaleemu

They said: "Even so says your Lord. Verily, He is the All-Wise, the All-Knower." The Noble Quran

Adh-Dhaariyat 31

قَالَ فَمَا خَطْبُكُمْ أَيُّهَا ٱلْمُرْسَلُونَ ﴿٣١﴾

Qala fama khatbukum ayyuha almursaloona

[Ibrahim (Abraham)] said: "Then for what purpose you have come, O Messengers?" The Noble Quran

Adh-Dhaariyat 32

قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّآ أُرْسِلْنَآ إِلَىٰ قَوْمٍ مُّجْرِمِينَ ﴿٣٢﴾

Qaloo inna orsilna ila qawmin mujrimeena

They said: "We have been sent to a people who are Mujrimun (polytheists, sinners, criminals, disbelievers in Allah); The Noble Quran

Adh-Dhaariyat 33

لِنُرْسِلَ عَلَيْهِمْ حِجَارَةً مِّن طِينٍ ﴿٣٣﴾

Linursila AAalayhim hijaratan min teenin

To send down upon them stones of baked clay. The Noble Quran

Adh-Dhaariyat 34

مُّسَوَّمَةً عِندَ رَبِّكَ لِلْمُسْرِفِينَ ﴿٣٤﴾

Musawwamatan AAinda rabbika lilmusrifeena

Marked by your Lord for the Musrifun (polytheists, criminals, sinners those who trespass Allah's set limits in evil-doings by committing great sins). The Noble Quran

Adh-Dhaariyat 35

فَأَخْرَجْنَا مَن كَانَ فِيهَا مِنَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ ﴿٣٥﴾

Faakhrajna man kana feeha mina almumineena

So We brought out from therein the believers. The Noble Quran

Adh-Dhaariyat 36

فَمَا وَجَدْنَا فِيهَا غَيْرَ بَيْتٍ مِّنَ ٱلْمُسْلِمِينَ ﴿٣٦﴾

Fama wajadna feeha ghayra baytin mina almuslimeena

But We found not there any household of the Muslims except one [i.e. Lout (Lot) and his two daughters]. The Noble Quran

Adh-Dhaariyat 37

وَتَرَكْنَا فِيهَآ ءَايَةً لِّلَّذِينَ يَخَافُونَ ٱلْعَذَابَ ٱلْأَلِيمَ ﴿٣٧﴾

Watarakna feeha ayatan lillatheena yakhafoona alAAathaba alaleema

And We have left there a sign (i.e. the place of the Dead Sea, well-known in Palestine) for those who fear the painful torment. The Noble Quran

Adh-Dhaariyat 38

وَفِى مُوسَىٰٓ إِذْ أَرْسَلْنَٰهُ إِلَىٰ فِرْعَوْنَ بِسُلْطَٰنٍ مُّبِينٍ ﴿٣٨﴾

Wafee moosa ith arsalnahu ila firAAawna bisultanin mubeenin

And in Musa (Moses) (too, there is a sign). When We sent him to Fir'aun (Pharaoh) with a manifest authority. The Noble Quran

Adh-Dhaariyat 39

فَتَوَلَّىٰ بِرُكْنِهِۦ وَقَالَ سَٰحِرٌ أَوْ مَجْنُونٌ ﴿٣٩﴾

Fatawalla biruknihi waqala sahirun aw majnoonun

But [Fir'aun (Pharaoh)] turned away (from Belief in might) along with his hosts, and said: "A sorcerer, or a madman." The Noble Quran

Adh-Dhaariyat 40

فَأَخَذْنَٰهُ وَجُنُودَهُۥ فَنَبَذْنَٰهُمْ فِى ٱلْيَمِّ وَهُوَ مُلِيمٌ ﴿٤٠﴾

Faakhathnahu wajunoodahu fanabathnahum fee alyammi wahuwa muleemun

So We took him and his hosts, and dumped them into the sea, while he was to be blamed. The Noble Quran

Adh-Dhaariyat 41

وَفِى عَادٍ إِذْ أَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلرِّيحَ ٱلْعَقِيمَ ﴿٤١﴾

Wafee AAadin ith arsalna AAalayhimu alrreeha alAAaqeema

And in 'Ad (there is also a sign) when We sent against them the barren wind; The Noble Quran

Adh-Dhaariyat 42

مَا تَذَرُ مِن شَىْءٍ أَتَتْ عَلَيْهِ إِلَّا جَعَلَتْهُ كَٱلرَّمِيمِ ﴿٤٢﴾

Ma tatharu min shayin atat AAalayhi illa jaAAalathu kaalrrameemi

It spared nothing that it reached, but blew it into broken spreads of rotten ruins. The Noble Quran

Adh-Dhaariyat 43

وَفِى ثَمُودَ إِذْ قِيلَ لَهُمْ تَمَتَّعُوا۟ حَتَّىٰ حِينٍ ﴿٤٣﴾

Wafee thamooda ith qeela lahum tamattaAAoo hatta heenin

And in Thamud (there is also a sign), when they were told: "Enjoy yourselves for a while!" The Noble Quran

Adh-Dhaariyat 44

فَعَتَوْا۟ عَنْ أَمْرِ رَبِّهِمْ فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ ٱلصَّٰعِقَةُ وَهُمْ يَنظُرُونَ ﴿٤٤﴾

FaAAataw AAan amri rabbihim faakhathathumu alssaAAiqatu wahum yanthuroona

But they insolently defied the Command of their Lord, so the Sa'iqah overtook them while they were looking. The Noble Quran

Adh-Dhaariyat 45

فَمَا ٱسْتَطَٰعُوا۟ مِن قِيَامٍ وَمَا كَانُوا۟ مُنتَصِرِينَ ﴿٤٥﴾

Fama istataAAoo min qiyamin wama kanoo muntasireena

Then they were unable to rise up, nor could they help themselves. The Noble Quran

Adh-Dhaariyat 46

وَقَوْمَ نُوحٍ مِّن قَبْلُ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ قَوْمًا فَٰسِقِينَ ﴿٤٦﴾

Waqawma noohin min qablu innahum kanoo qawman fasiqeena

(So were) the people of Nuh (Noah) before them. Verily, they were a people who were Fasiqun (rebellious, disobedient to Allah). The Noble Quran

Adh-Dhaariyat 47

وَٱلسَّمَآءَ بَنَيْنَٰهَا بِأَيْي۟دٍ وَإِنَّا لَمُوسِعُونَ ﴿٤٧﴾

Waalssamaa banaynaha biaydin wainna lamoosiAAoona

With power did We construct the heaven. Verily, We are Able to extend the vastness of space thereof. The Noble Quran

Adh-Dhaariyat 48

وَٱلْأَرْضَ فَرَشْنَٰهَا فَنِعْمَ ٱلْمَٰهِدُونَ ﴿٤٨﴾

Waalarda farashnaha faniAAma almahidoona

And We have spread out the earth, how Excellent Spreader (thereof) are We! The Noble Quran

Adh-Dhaariyat 49

وَمِن كُلِّ شَىْءٍ خَلَقْنَا زَوْجَيْنِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّرُونَ ﴿٤٩﴾

Wamin kulli shayin khalaqna zawjayni laAAallakum tathakkaroona

And of everything We have created pairs, that you may remember (the Grace of Allah). The Noble Quran

Adh-Dhaariyat 50

فَفِرُّوٓا۟ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ إِنِّى لَكُم مِّنْهُ نَذِيرٌ مُّبِينٌ ﴿٥٠﴾

Fafirroo ila Allahi innee lakum minhu natheerun mubeenun

So flee to Allah (from His Torment to His Mercy Islamic Monotheism), verily, I (Muhammad SAW) am a plain warner to you from Him. The Noble Quran

Adh-Dhaariyat 51

وَلَا تَجْعَلُوا۟ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَٰهًا ءَاخَرَ إِنِّى لَكُم مِّنْهُ نَذِيرٌ مُّبِينٌ ﴿٥١﴾

Wala tajAAaloo maAAa Allahi ilahan akhara innee lakum minhu natheerun mubeenun

And set not up (or worship) any other ilahan (god) along with Allah [Glorified be He (Alone), Exalted above all that they associate as partners with Him]. Verily, I (Muhammad SAW) am a plain warner to you from Him. The Noble Quran

Adh-Dhaariyat 52

كَذَٰلِكَ مَآ أَتَى ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِم مِّن رَّسُولٍ إِلَّا قَالُوا۟ سَاحِرٌ أَوْ مَجْنُونٌ ﴿٥٢﴾

Kathalika ma ata allatheena min qablihim min rasoolin illa qaloo sahirun aw majnoonun

Likewise, no Messenger came to those before them, but they said: "A sorcerer or a madman!" The Noble Quran

Adh-Dhaariyat 53

أَتَوَاصَوْا۟ بِهِۦ بَلْ هُمْ قَوْمٌ طَاغُونَ ﴿٥٣﴾

Atawasaw bihi bal hum qawmun taghoona

Have they (the people of the past) transmitted this saying to these (Quraish pagans)? Nay, they are themselves a people transgressing beyond bounds (in disbelief)! The Noble Quran

Adh-Dhaariyat 54

فَتَوَلَّ عَنْهُمْ فَمَآ أَنتَ بِمَلُومٍ ﴿٥٤﴾

Fatawalla AAanhum fama anta bimaloomin

So turn away (O Muhammad SAW) from them (Quraish pagans) you are not to be blamed (as you have conveyed Allah's Message). The Noble Quran

Adh-Dhaariyat 55

وَذَكِّرْ فَإِنَّ ٱلذِّكْرَىٰ تَنفَعُ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ ﴿٥٥﴾

Wathakkir fainna alththikra tanfaAAu almumineena

And remind (by preaching the Quran, O Muhammad SAW) for verily, the reminding profits the believers. The Noble Quran

Adh-Dhaariyat 56

وَمَا خَلَقْتُ ٱلْجِنَّ وَٱلْإِنسَ إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُونِ ﴿٥٦﴾

Wama khalaqtu aljinna waalinsa illa liyaAAbudooni

And I (Allah) created not the jinns and humans except they should worship Me (Alone). The Noble Quran

Adh-Dhaariyat 57

مَآ أُرِيدُ مِنْهُم مِّن رِّزْقٍ وَمَآ أُرِيدُ أَن يُطْعِمُونِ ﴿٥٧﴾

Ma oreedu minhum min rizqin wama oreedu an yutAAimooni

I seek not any provision from them (i.e. provision for themselves or for My creatures) nor do I ask that they should feed Me (i.e. feed themselves or My creatures). The Noble Quran

Adh-Dhaariyat 58

إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ ٱلرَّزَّاقُ ذُو ٱلْقُوَّةِ ٱلْمَتِينُ ﴿٥٨﴾

Inna Allaha huwa alrrazzaqu thoo alquwwati almateenu

Verily, Allah is the All-Provider, Owner of Power, the Most Strong. The Noble Quran

Adh-Dhaariyat 59

فَإِنَّ لِلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا۟ ذَنُوبًا مِّثْلَ ذَنُوبِ أَصْحَٰبِهِمْ فَلَا يَسْتَعْجِلُونِ ﴿٥٩﴾

Fainna lillatheena thalamoo thanooban mithla thanoobi ashabihim fala yastaAAjiloona

And verily, for those who do wrong, there is a portion of torment like to the evil portion of torment (which came for) their likes (of old), so let them not ask Me to hasten on! The Noble Quran

Adh-Dhaariyat 60

فَوَيْلٌ لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ مِن يَوْمِهِمُ ٱلَّذِى يُوعَدُونَ ﴿٦٠﴾

Fawaylun lillatheena kafaroo min yawmihimu allathee yooAAadoona

Then, woe to those who disbelieve (in Allah and His Oneness Islamic Monotheism) from (that) their Day which they have been promised (for their punishment). The Noble Quran
