Ad-Dhuhaa 1
وَٱلضُّحَىٰ ﴿١﴾
Waaldduha
By the forenoon (after sun-rise); The Noble Quran
وَٱلضُّحَىٰ ﴿١﴾
Waaldduha
By the forenoon (after sun-rise); The Noble Quran
وَٱلَّيْلِ إِذَا سَجَىٰ ﴿٢﴾
Waallayli itha saja
And by the night when it is still (or darkens); The Noble Quran
مَا وَدَّعَكَ رَبُّكَ وَمَا قَلَىٰ ﴿٣﴾
Ma waddaAAaka rabbuka wama qala
Your Lord (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) has neither forsaken you nor hated you. The Noble Quran
وَلَلْءَاخِرَةُ خَيْرٌ لَّكَ مِنَ ٱلْأُولَىٰ ﴿٤﴾
Walalakhiratu khayrun laka mina aloola
And indeed the Hereafter is better for you than the present (life of this world). The Noble Quran
وَلَسَوْفَ يُعْطِيكَ رَبُّكَ فَتَرْضَىٰٓ ﴿٥﴾
Walasawfa yuAAteeka rabbuka fatarda
And verily, your Lord will give you (all i.e. good) so that you shall be well-pleased. The Noble Quran
أَلَمْ يَجِدْكَ يَتِيمًا فَـَٔاوَىٰ ﴿٦﴾
Alam yajidka yateeman faawa
Did He not find you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) an orphan and gave you a refuge? The Noble Quran
وَوَجَدَكَ ضَآلًّا فَهَدَىٰ ﴿٧﴾
Wawajadaka dallan fahada
And He found you unaware (of the Quran, its legal laws, and Prophethood, etc.) and guided you? The Noble Quran
وَوَجَدَكَ عَآئِلًا فَأَغْنَىٰ ﴿٨﴾
Wawajadaka AAailan faaghna
And He found you poor, and made you rich (selfsufficient with selfcontentment, etc.)? The Noble Quran
فَأَمَّا ٱلْيَتِيمَ فَلَا تَقْهَرْ ﴿٩﴾
Faamma alyateema fala taqhar
Therefore, treat not the orphan with oppression, The Noble Quran
وَأَمَّا ٱلسَّآئِلَ فَلَا تَنْهَرْ ﴿١٠﴾
Waamma alssaila fala tanhar
And repulse not the beggar; The Noble Quran
وَأَمَّا بِنِعْمَةِ رَبِّكَ فَحَدِّثْ ﴿١١﴾
Waamma biniAAmati rabbika fahaddith
And proclaim the Grace of your Lord (i.e. the Prophethood and all other Graces). The Noble Quran
