Al-Inshiqaaq 1

إِذَا ٱلسَّمَآءُ ٱنشَقَّتْ ﴿١﴾

Itha alssamao inshaqqat

When the heaven is split asunder, The Noble Quran

Al-Inshiqaaq 2

وَأَذِنَتْ لِرَبِّهَا وَحُقَّتْ ﴿٢﴾

Waathinat lirabbiha wahuqqat

And listens and obeys its Lord, and it must do so; The Noble Quran

Al-Inshiqaaq 3

وَإِذَا ٱلْأَرْضُ مُدَّتْ ﴿٣﴾

Waitha alardu muddat

And when the earth is stretched forth, The Noble Quran

Al-Inshiqaaq 4

وَأَلْقَتْ مَا فِيهَا وَتَخَلَّتْ ﴿٤﴾

Waalqat ma feeha watakhallat

And has cast out all that was in it and became empty, The Noble Quran

Al-Inshiqaaq 5

وَأَذِنَتْ لِرَبِّهَا وَحُقَّتْ ﴿٥﴾

Waathinat lirabbiha wahuqqat

And listens and obeys its Lord, and it must do so; The Noble Quran

Al-Inshiqaaq 6

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ إِنَّكَ كَادِحٌ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ كَدْحًا فَمُلَٰقِيهِ ﴿٦﴾

Ya ayyuha alinsanu innaka kadihun ila rabbika kadhan famulaqeehi

O man! Verily, you are returning towards your Lord with your deeds and actions (good or bad), a sure returning, so you will meet (i.e. the results of your deeds which you did). The Noble Quran

Al-Inshiqaaq 7

فَأَمَّا مَنْ أُوتِىَ كِتَٰبَهُۥ بِيَمِينِهِۦ ﴿٧﴾

Faama man ootiya kitabahu biyameenihi

Then, as for him who will be given his Record in his right hand, The Noble Quran

Al-Inshiqaaq 8

فَسَوْفَ يُحَاسَبُ حِسَابًا يَسِيرًا ﴿٨﴾

Fasawfa yuhasabu hisaban yaseeran

He surely will receive an easy reckoning, The Noble Quran

Al-Inshiqaaq 9

وَيَنقَلِبُ إِلَىٰٓ أَهْلِهِۦ مَسْرُورًا ﴿٩﴾

Wayanqalibu ila ahlihi masrooran

And will return to his family in joy! The Noble Quran

Al-Inshiqaaq 10

وَأَمَّا مَنْ أُوتِىَ كِتَٰبَهُۥ وَرَآءَ ظَهْرِهِۦ ﴿١٠﴾

Waamma man ootiya kitabahu waraa thahrihi

But whosoever is given his Record behind his back, The Noble Quran

Al-Inshiqaaq 11

فَسَوْفَ يَدْعُوا۟ ثُبُورًا ﴿١١﴾

Fasawfa yadAAoo thubooran

He will invoke (his) destruction, The Noble Quran

Al-Inshiqaaq 12

وَيَصْلَىٰ سَعِيرًا ﴿١٢﴾

Wayasla saAAeeran

And shall enter a blazing Fire, and made to taste its burning. The Noble Quran

Al-Inshiqaaq 13

إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ فِىٓ أَهْلِهِۦ مَسْرُورًا ﴿١٣﴾

Innahu kana fee ahlihi masrooran

Verily, he was among his people in joy! The Noble Quran

Al-Inshiqaaq 14

إِنَّهُۥ ظَنَّ أَن لَّن يَحُورَ ﴿١٤﴾

Innahu thanna an lan yahoora

Verily, he thought that he would never come back (to Us)! The Noble Quran

Al-Inshiqaaq 15

بَلَىٰٓ إِنَّ رَبَّهُۥ كَانَ بِهِۦ بَصِيرًا ﴿١٥﴾

Bala inna rabbahu kana bihi baseeran

Yes! Verily, his Lord has been ever beholding him! The Noble Quran

Al-Inshiqaaq 16

فَلَآ أُقْسِمُ بِٱلشَّفَقِ ﴿١٦﴾

Fala oqsimu bialshshafaqi

So I swear by the afterglow of sunset; The Noble Quran

Al-Inshiqaaq 17

وَٱلَّيْلِ وَمَا وَسَقَ ﴿١٧﴾

Waallayli wama wasaqa

And by the night and whatever it gathers in its darkness; The Noble Quran

Al-Inshiqaaq 18

وَٱلْقَمَرِ إِذَا ٱتَّسَقَ ﴿١٨﴾

Waalqamari itha ittasaqa

And by the moon when it is at the full, The Noble Quran

Al-Inshiqaaq 19

لَتَرْكَبُنَّ طَبَقًا عَن طَبَقٍ ﴿١٩﴾

Latarkabunna tabaqan AAan tabaqin

You shall certainly travel from stage to stage (in this life and in the Hereafter). The Noble Quran

Al-Inshiqaaq 20

فَمَا لَهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ ﴿٢٠﴾

Fama lahum la yuminoona

What is the matter with them, that they believe not? The Noble Quran

Al-Inshiqaaq 21

وَإِذَا قُرِئَ عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلْقُرْءَانُ لَا يَسْجُدُونَ ﴿٢١﴾

Waitha quria AAalayhimu alquranu la yasjudoona

And when the Quran is recited to them, they fall not prostrate, The Noble Quran

Al-Inshiqaaq 22

بَلِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ يُكَذِّبُونَ ﴿٢٢﴾

Bali allatheena kafaroo yukaththiboona

Nay, (on the contrary), those who disbelieve, belie (Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) and whatever he brought, i.e. this Quran and Islamic Monotheism, etc.). The Noble Quran

Al-Inshiqaaq 23

وَٱللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا يُوعُونَ ﴿٢٣﴾

WaAllahu aAAlamu bima yooAAoona

And Allah knows best what they gather (of good and bad deeds), The Noble Quran

Al-Inshiqaaq 24

فَبَشِّرْهُم بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ ﴿٢٤﴾

Fabashshirhum biAAathabin aleemin

So announce to them a painful torment. The Noble Quran

Al-Inshiqaaq 25

إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ لَهُمْ أَجْرٌ غَيْرُ مَمْنُونٍۭ ﴿٢٥﴾

Illa allatheena amanoo waAAamiloo alssalihati lahum ajrun ghayru mamnoonin

Save those who believe and do righteous good deeds, for them is a reward that will never come to an end (i.e. Paradise). The Noble Quran
